In Bubble Talk, two persons talk through bubbles instead of a verbal conversation. There are two separate rooms divided by a clear glass. Two viewers are in each room and can see each other through a clear glass. If a viewer talks, sings or yells with a microphone, the different pitches of his or her voices generate a number of bubbles in another room. The higher pitches of voices (like women’s) make more bubbles and the lower (like man’s) makes less. In this simple interaction, they can continue their dialogue by capturing their facial expressions or gestures, without understanding their linguistic contents. The audible voices of viewers are transformed into the optical, tactile bubbles. This bring them a new enjoyable way of communications. |
